Waitlist Privacy Statement
Effective date: June 11, 2026
This statement explains how Paret Labs Inc. (“Paret,” “we,” “us,” “our”) handles personal information collected through the waitlist on paret.ca. It applies only to the pre-launch waitlist. A separate, full privacy policy will govern the Paret application before it becomes available to users.
Who we are
Paret Inc. is a company incorporated federally in Canada. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@paret.ca.
What we collect
- The email address you submit to join the waitlist.
- Basic technical information your browser sends automatically when you visit our site — such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — which may be collected through standard web analytics.
Why we collect it
We use your email address only to notify you about Paret’s launch, early access, and related product updates. We do not use your waitlist email for any other purpose.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the waitlist — for example, our hosting and email-delivery providers — and only to the extent needed to provide those services.
Where your information is stored
Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those countries, and foreign courts or authorities may be able to access it under those laws.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe or until we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. If you later create a Paret account, we may move your email into that account; otherwise we delete it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@paret.ca.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. If you do, we will stop emailing you and delete your waitlist email.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
